The Channel Signal Dashboard

Our clients told us they quickly want to get to the core of online conversations. That's why we built this dashboard and put it in the middle of the universe for our clients and Channel Signal. It allows you to see a trend, dig down quickly to the conversations that are fueling it and build a report.

It's reliable. All "finished posts" go to the dashboard. Finished posts have been filtered, assigned sentiment, tagged and placed in the proper channel. So when our clients look at their dashboards they are looking at relevant and valuable information. No junk.

The Channels

The Channel Signal dashboard can be segmented into your channels of choice. Typically our clients want it to be segmented into Twitter, Online Traditional Media, Blogs and Product Reviews. Nonetheless, our team works with you to understand what channels you are using to broadcast messages and to engage with consumers. Those are the channels that appear in the dashboard.

Each Channel has a graph showing the trend. There is a "term cloud" under the graph the shows what conversations are driving the trend.

the Twitter Channel

Here's how the Twitter Channel works.

Because Twitter is so "now", we have built it to be updated on the hour. As you can see there was spike in volume at 3 am. Click on that and five of the tweets will drop down for inspection.

"Show me more" (in red, and just above the tweets) allows you to quickly gather all 84 tweets for further inspection.

The Term Window under the graph shows you the trending topics during that 24 hour time period. In short, what consumers are talking about most.

The Online Traditional Media, Blog and Product Review Channels all work this way. It is designed for fast and efficient retrieval of the social media information you need.
